Educational funding programs for foreign students

ERASMUS EUROPE

LLP / Erasmus is the European program supporting university students to spend a study period in any European country. Every year there is a call open to all students of European Universities. Before you apply, please inquire about the destination universities, length of stay and activities to be carried out, consulting Erasmus program calls and websites. To apply follow the instructions given by your home university (restrictions on eligibility may apply at the home university).

ERASMUS MUNDUS Action 2

This mobility program is offered to Bachelor, Master, PhD students, post-doc researchers, lectures, and staff.

ERASMUS MUNDUS EUROPE ASIA (EMEA)

The consortium EMEA, which consists of 20 universities located in Europe and Asia, aims to strengthen cooperation between Europe and Asia in the field of higher education. The program covers Agriculture, Pharmacy, Medicine and Surgery, Veterinary Medicine, Mathematical, Physical and Natural Sciences (including Informatics and related areas, multidisciplinary topics, and applications), Political Science, and Humanities.

ERAMSUS MUNDUS ACTION 2 PROJECT SIGMA

The SIGMA Project, with its 19 partner universities, aims to promote cooperation and mobility between the European Union and the Balkans. Mobility, both inbound and outbound, involves both students, lectures, and staff.

ERASMUS PLACEMENT

Erasmus has also a mobility program for placement, which offers students internships in a European country, at public institutions or private companies.

SCIENCE WITHOUT BORDERS – BRAZIL

The program is offered to students who have already completed part of the studies in Brazil. The duration of the mobility is two semesters: September 1, 2013 - July 30, 2014. The Brazilian government, through the CAPES Agency, funds the scholarships and a course on the italian language.
